Ottoman Empire. Suleyman I "The Magnificent", 1520-1566 AD. Stunning gold sultani, Kostantiniye mint, struck 926 AH. 20 mm, 3.49 g. , lovely even strike, : $725

Great Seljuq. Islamic Persia. Barkiyaruq, 1093-1105 AD. Gold dinar, Nishapur mint, struck 486 AH. 24 mm, 2.68 g. . Almost no wear at all,  Rare! Between 485 and 490, Nishapur first belonged to Malikshah I, who died in 485, then Mahmud I very briefly, then to Arslan Arghu in 486, then to Barkiyaruq 486-487, then once again to Arslan Arghu 487-489 or 490, then to Sanjar as vassal under Barkiyaruq. The final digit on this piece is weak, but can only be "6", as the final letter can only be "t" of 6, not "ayn" of 7. : $750
